Funds Raised for the 2014 Fun Run Benefit the Maternal Care Center in Peru
Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Maternal Care Center (Hogar Materno Hannah) located in the Amazon Basin in Peru. The Center provides shelter to women (as well as their families) with high-risk pregnancies that live miles from a medical facility. Because of this Center, the women are cared for until they can safely give birth at the local hospital, saving their lives and the lives of their babies. The Center also provides a home to abandoned, orphaned and malnourished children.
Please consider joining us on February 22 as we make a difference in the lives of families in Peru.
*T-shirt pick up is on race day at Cypress Grove Park. Children must register to receive a t-shirt. No t-shirt guaranteed if you register after February 3.
