I Made a Difference Today Fun Run 5K


Are you up for a challenge? Are you ready to burn a few calories and raise funds for those who need your help? Would you like to make a difference on February 28? Then join Missionary Ventures in our sixth annual 5K Fun Run.

We are calling on you to participate on February 28 at 8:00 AM. Join us at Cypress Grove Park (290 W Holden Avenue, Orlando, FL 32839) at 8:00 AM to run/walk the 5K (3.1 miles).

Registration for adults is $20 and children ages 0-16 is FREE.


Sleep-In Registration Available: Can’t make the race, but still want to contribute? Sign up, sleep in, and get the participant t-shirt*!

Gear up for a little friendly competition

  • The top 3 finishers (men & women) will be awarded a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place medal.
  • All children (ages 0-16) who participate will receive a ribbon.

Funds Raised for the 2014 Fun Run Benefit Education for the Poor

Proceeds from this year’s event will help Christian schools that MVI partners with in developing nations around the globe. Christian education is a key element for combating poverty and hopelessness at all levels. MVI currently partners with ministry leaders and pastors in over 35 counties who have established more than 80 schools. The schools are meeting the spiritual, educational and physical needs of impoverished children, many who cannot afford school fees as little as $2.00 per month. Your support will enable MVI to support Christ centered educational opportunities in numerous developing and disadvantaged areas of the world.

*T-shirt pick up is on race day at Cypress Grove Park. Children must register to receive a t-shirt. No t-shirt guaranteed if you register after January 31. Sleep-in participants are eligible to receive a t-shirt if they give a minimum donation of $40. Sleep-in donations below $40 will NOT receive a t-shirt due to costs. Thanks for understanding.
