Serving in Costa Rica
Our ministry involves making a difference in the lives of the people of Costa Rica. God is giving us a vision in the following areas:
First, we share the gospel with the lost. This involves preaching, teaching, and just sharing. We will be helping them in their Christian walk.
Second, we plan to work with local pastors to set up a Bible School to train others to preach the gospel. We will then work with the new pastors to help them establish churches throughout Costa Rica.
Third, we plan to work with another missionary in Latin America to help oversee several bible schools in Central and South America
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the opressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Luke 4:18:19
Mission & Vision
Our vision is preach the good news to the poor, release the oppressed, pray for the sick and see them recover, and to show God’s love. By following Luke 4:18, 19 we will, with God’s help fulfill the Great Commission.
Our mission is to fulfill God’s call on our lives by preaching, teaching, and serving. Our philosophy as missionaries is to equip the native people to also preach, teach, and serve. We can either fish and provide someone fish for a day, or we can teach them to fish so they will have fish for a lifetime.
