Dear Friend of Missionary Ventures and mv300,
Do you remember your first mission trip? I’ll always remember mine!
God touched my heart with a love for His children that continues to grow.
Meet my new friend Bill with the contagious smile. A few weeks ago, I was with him on his first ever mission trip to Central America.
We were in Honduras, and the very first day, Bill turned to me and said, “Wow, I am so touched by what the Lord is doing.” I told him, “Hang on, it’s just starting. The Lord is going to impress you with His Love this week.”
Bill became so awestruck by the love of God for His children in Central America, that every day Bill couldn’t wait to see what God was going to do next.
I’ll admit, I’ve had a few team members with such hard hearts, I wasn’t sure God could ever reach them. However, God would urge me to get them out to where He was moving. Once they saw what God was doing, that’s all it took for a change of heart.
How is your heart? Are you touched by what the Lord is doing around the world? Be encouraged! Everything you and I do through Missionary Ventures is for God’s glory. As we pray, give, and go, it awakens our hearts to what God is doing in His world.
Let your heart be captured by His love. Nothing on this earth is as beautiful as God’s love flowing through us.
