Marilyn Loftsgard, MVI Field Coordinator in Nicaragua Shares Her Testimony

mv300 Partner Letter Oct/Nov 2010

“How happy are those who fear the Lord-all who follow His ways! You will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How happy you will be! How rich your life!” Psalm 128:1-2

Dear mv300 Partner,

One of the highlights of my responsibilities with MVI is getting to see the fruit of this incredible ministry all over the world.  This month I’d like to introduce you to Mike and Lauren Deibert, Directors of ESVO Ministries and serving as MVI missionaries in Nicaragua.  In January, of this year, we broke ground on our new vocational building. We were dreaming so big, if God wasn’t in it, we knew we were doomed for failure.

What started as an empty lot (picture on left) has now been transformed into a new vocational school (picture on right). We were able to host the open house this month for the community.

I wish you could see the love Mike and Lauren have for the students.  And I wish you could see how happy those students are to learn a trade.  Students/disciples will learn carpentry, blacksmithing, welding, automotive theory, and electrical wiring.  Just a year ago, they had no opportunities. Now, because of your faithfulness, they have an opportunity to provide for their families and have their lives dramatically changed.

This vocational school is just one reason why your partnership makes a real difference. This month, and every month, as we reach out across the nations, Missionary Ventures is committed to seeing lives impacted by the power of the Gospel.

Your prayers and generosity are helping missionaries, children, pastors, schools, and so many others.

Thank you for your sacrifices and love for the least of these.

Glen P. Dubois

President, MVI
