Charity Navigator

We are often asked why Missionary Ventures is not listed on Charity Navigator’s website.  As an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) mission society organization, MV is exempt, as many religious organizations are, from the IRS Form 990 filing requirements.  Charity Navigator’s evaluations are based on the information from the Form 990, and they do not evaluate organizations like ours that are not required to file Form 990.

Missionary Ventures is a proud member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), an accreditation agency for Christian ministries.  We invite you to go to their site to learn more about their standards and our organization.
