The cost is broken down into three categories: deposit, airfare and ground cost. The deposit is $100 and is due with your application. This is non-refundable. The airfare will vary from trip to trip. We can arrange your flights for you or you are welcome to arrange them yourself. The ground cost is the total cost for your food, lodging and transportation while on the mission field. You will only need to bring money for personal purchases and exit taxes in some countries. The deposit is usually due 3 months prior to your trip. The airfare is usually due 2 months prior to your trip, and the ground cost is usually due 1 month prior to your trip. Medical trips have higher ground costs than other trips. Construction teams must raise the construction costs for their building project in addition to the above mentioned costs. |
