How Do I Begin the Process of Taking a Short-Term Mission Trip?

You will first need to have an idea of what your group would be best suited for. Is your group made up of people who have construction experience or medical skills? Does your group have a heart to minister to children in Feeding Centers or would they be better suited for preaching/teaching in pastor conferences?

Once you have ascertained the skills of your group, contact MVI. We will need the following information from you.

  • preliminary listing of team members
  • airport you will be flying out of
  • type of team you are interested in
  • country you are interested in (this may vary depending on the type of team)
  • dates you are interested in (trips last an average of 7 days)

At this time, you can also schedule a training session with an MVI representative or set up a Night of Missions for your church.
