We just finished another outreach trip with a team from Florida and Texas. “BUILD MY CHURCH” is Christ’s commandment and we did just that spiritually and physically in the Shuar Indian community of Namakim. We have CEMIM students from Namakim and so we came behind their vision for church growth in this very anti-evangelical community. The church body has doubled in size with many new believers and now they also have a location of their own instead of bursting at the seams in Pastor Abel’s house as pictured below.

A new 40’ x 60’ big roof was raised up in just 4 days! Rain and sun protection in the tropics! Walls and a better floor are secondary. The believers now have a place to meet and to grow. Thanks Hands to the World (HttW.org) for providing the roof funds and CCWC (FL) and Victory (TX) for the building & evangelism teams!

Roof completed! – well they will add a floor and perhaps some walls if they feel the need, but the roof is there!

The REAL church. The body of Christ! Aren’t they cool?

Yes, of course, there was a dedication followed by a big celebration! Elias, a student of CEMIM, pictured here doing a traditional dance with his daughters.
