Honduras: September 5-12, 2010
Jungle Church Plant: Adventure teams are needed to go into the remote, mountainous frontier in the Department of Limperia of Honduras to build churches. Must be willing to go four-wheeling over rough mountainous roads, to give up the comforts of home, and to be totally dedicated to serving God. Adventurous attitude a must.
In the past fourteen years, the evangelical church in Western Honduras has grown from approximately 1% of the population to 5%. New churches are being planted all across this region, most of them meeting in homes. Many of these churches have now outgrown these temporary sanctuaries, and are in need of a church building to accommodate their increasing numbers. Due to the extreme poverty of the area, these congregations are in need of outside help. We are currently forming a church construction and evangelism team for September 5-12, and are praying for the Lord to provide additional teams both this summer and in the future. Please pray about your involvement in this missionary venture.
