Visiting Prisons in Zambia
Article submitted by Elizabeth Ratliff, Field Coordinator in Zambia In the past I have said what a privilege it is to serve the Lord here in Zambia and the incredible opportunities in the prisons but this mission to Northern Zambia far surpassed previous missions. It was our most distant mission, it was the hardest and [...]

Heat is a Luxury
Article submitted by Norb & Julie Kurrle, Field Coordinators in Paraguay It’s been cold here the last few days and today we woke up to about 0 degree celcius. We’re giving our new wood burning stove a work out; yesterday we kept it burning all day! While we are thankful for a cozy home, the [...]

Tell Me “My Story”

Tents & Tarps for Haiti
Haiti has more missionaries per capita than any other country in the world. Why has so much relief gone into Haiti yet there has been so little change over the years? I believe the reason is that it has been simply relief or social work without the proclamation of the Gospel. Missionary Ventures is committed in everything we do to proclaim the Gospel and work through the local church. Without the proclamation of the Gospel and the involvement of the local church, we will not see lives transformed. This is the time for the Body of Christ here and around the world to truly stand up and impact the nation of Haiti for the Gospel. How can you help?
There is a tremendous need on the ground for tents and tarps. Most people are living under a bed sheet or cardboard. They lay on cement blocks to keep
from getting wet when it rains. The living conditions are terrible. By purchasing a tent or tarp, you are helping a family stay dry and out of the elements. You can purchase tents and tarps through our Gift Catalog here.
Your partnership is truly impacting thousands of lives in Haiti. May God richly bless you for your love for the least of these.
