Making Disciples among the Nations
Whether presenting the gospel for the first time, training a pastor or educating a child, we desire to see lives transformed and people grow in their recognition of the Lordship of Christ.
Our missionaries are the heart and soul of Missionary Ventures. These heroes of the faith are the ones on the ground, out in the field, making disciples, forming relationships, pioneering new work, and carrying out the mission of Missionary Ventures. They are also multipliers, forming and empowering others to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
A disciple of Jesus is following Jesus, being changed by Jesus, and committed to the mission of Jesus. Our heart is to see the Good News of Jesus and the life transformation he brings spread among all the peoples. Our ministry initiatives provide a framework for our missionary activity. Through personal relationships, intentional projects and strategic ministries, we are able to achieve maximum impact on lives for the glory of God’s Kingdom!
Bible Training
One of our greatest joys is to equip pastors and Christian leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to be effective disciple makers. Well-trained leaders are key to a healthy and growing church. Around the world, MV missionaries are working with local church leaders to provide Bible training to pastors and key Christian leaders.
Church Planting
We are committed to spread the gospel among those peoples the church has yet to reach. We support the advancement of church planting movements around the world and support the pioneering efforts of national church planters.
Christian Schools
Through Christian Schools, we are investing in dynamic disciple-making that transforms individuals and communities to reach their God-given potential. We believe that the Gospel restores identity and education unlocks opportunity. Around the developing world, Missionary Ventures serves local Christian Schools by strengthening them to carry out this Kingdom calling.
Health and Community Development
We desire to see families and communities thrive. We seek to see individuals become not only followers of Jesus but also see families lifted out of the cycles of poverty and disease. Our strategy includes contextualized community health training, medical centers, vocational training, re-nutrition centers and clean water initiatives.

We are intentional and passionate about discipleship, empowering leaders, equipping ministries, and spreading the good news of Jesus to every nation. Our programs and projects have been developed by our missionaries together with local Christian leaders and are designed to maximize the impact of our resources for the Kingdom of God.
The Shawi Discipleship Center in Peru is used for spiritual training, retreats, and workshops. New believers in jungle villages with no existing church quickly move into leadership roles out of necessity as they evangelize others in their communities. At the center, they can grow quickly in their new faith with spiritual training that ranges in level from basic discipleship through a Bible Institute.
Baltic School of Ministry is a one-year and on-campus program to equip Christians and help them live out their God’s given purpose. Through intensive weekly study, students receive training in biblical, theological and practical subjects. Every year students from the Baltic countries —and beyond— together with teachers from all around the world create a unique international environment where everyone can feel comfortable.
Restoration House Peru is a Jesus-centered children’s center located in the heart of the Amazon in Yurimaguas. The ministry primarily serves as a temporary housing facility for children that have been severely abused, abandoned, trafficked, or orphaned. The children stay in family style units with dedicated house mothers who share the love of Jesus with them while we search for more permanent living solutions such as adoption or foster care.
Reach Out Children’s Home in Honduras has a special focus of reaching low-income children and their families, helping them with their spiritual, physical, educational and material needs.
The children’s home employs and supports many Hondurans and provides an excellent location for visitors to come and volunteer their time and skills.
Casa Compasiva, or “Compassion House,” is a Christian birth and midwifery training center in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Casa Compasiva works to provide a safe, natural birth environment that is respectful of the Oaxacan people while utilizing essential midwifery and medical knowledge to provide quality care and to save lives.
